2. ChatGPT adds Long-Term Memory Capabilities
OpenAI has updated ChatGPT to include long-term memory features, allowing the AI to recall past conversations without explicit user prompts. ChatGPT can now reference previous chats to inform responses. The feature is currently available to ChatGPT Pro users and will soon roll out to Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users, excluding regions with stringent AI regulations like the EU and UK. Users have control over this feature and can manage or disable memory settings as desired, but it raises an interesting question about the future of our chat data. Read More
3. Netwrix Integrates Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Netwrix has launched a free open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration for its Access Analyzer product. This integration allows AI assistants like Claude Desktop and Microsoft Copilot to query data collected by Access Analyzer, enabling security teams to obtain insights through natural language questions. For example, users can ask, āWho has shadow access to credit card data?ā and receive immediate answers without navigating complex dashboards.
